The world wide web is a jungle of no-names, no-faces where thieves and counterfeiters thrive and prosper at the expense of gullible suckers like yourself. Gee, you sound like such a nice guy. On this forum you should make it that the most recent comments show up first instead of the other way around. No one likes scrolling through all the old comments to finally get to the most recent.
Have read reviews of this site and some seem to have had bad customer service. I have just received a set of ladies cobra s3 max combo set. They have arrived promptly and well packaged but my husband is wondering if they are genuine. Has anyone experienced any problems with fake items from this site? They have uk contact details and say they are authorised distributors. I will speak to Cobra direct when they reopen after the weekend. According to the cobra website , click the online dealer link golf are an authorised dealer.
Read the reviews, clearly not written by someone with English as a first language. View the source code of the page. Chinese characters all over the place. Prices are really low and was debating purchasing the Ping G20 irons but worried whether there fakes or not. This is a scam website! The golf clubs on this website definitely are fake.
I ordered a Scotty Cameron Putter. Very quick free! Furthermore, the website is not UK based, as it suggests, but in China! After delivery, I sent them an e-mail that I found the club to be fake, but of course, no reaction!
Prices are great, but as always, if it sounds too good to be true…. Do they do steak knives? I bought some Ping G25s and while the shafts TFC graphite and grips looked ok, the heads had a plastic covered piece of grey foam where the CTP should be Tungsten insert. Having problems sending them back.
Okay, so I cancelled the golfwholesalemarket. I disputed the bogus Chinese tourist activites charge that mysteriously appeared after the club order, with my card company. Then I get an email from the site saying the club was shipped yesterday.
I replied that he was lying because there is no Sunday shipping in the US, his email timeline was 12 hours ahead putting him in China, TaylorMade does not ship directly from their factory in China and since he had violated the terms on his site I would refuse any deliveries and dispute any charges.
Furthermore I would pursue any avenues available with TaylorMade and the US authorities regarding the legitimacy of his product. Today I refused the pkg and I will refute any charges he may apply. Hello all. I have been in contact with a gentleman from online store called Golf Mart. I had the opportunity speak with him over the phone. I feel fairly confident that the clubs he is selling are legitimate because I asked for a custom order and he was able to oblige I also asked if the clubs could be drop shipped directly from the manufacturer here in the United States and he said yes they could.
I just wanted to check to see if anyone had any experience with this seller. My relatives every time say that I am wasting my time here at net, except I know I am getting knowledge every day by reading thes good posts.
Does anybody have any experience with golfwholesalemarket. Coincidentally the next day there was a bogus charge from China on my card. Upon review, some of the warning flags mentioned here are present — questionable grammer, no phone number or physical address, no customer reviews. The internet is a jungle where thieves and counterfeiters hide and thrive.
Go to your local golf store instead. At least you know where to go if something goes wrong. A: Yes, you will get a confirmation email once payment confirmed or package shipped.
Please check your junk mailbox or Spam mailbox if can not receive this email, or contact us via [email protected]. Another tip is check out their security certificate logo at the bottom of the page. Instead, go to a reputable golf store and try and buy.
Easily the cheapest in the world, possibly cheaper than the cheapest. Free shipping throughout the world, possibly even free to moon residents. Send your money now, buy, buy, buy.
Snake oil extra. I think I just stumbled on another sham site. Anyone ever heard of or used officegolfshop. Hard to tell from the website itself, but the prices…. They real deal. Phree shipping threwout da world. Discount for Shenzen residents. Cheeper than manufacturers sell to retail outlets. They take cash in brown paper bags. Is this golf wholesale site a legitimate site in the United States or is it a scam or maybe some place selling counterfeit clubs?
The prices seem to good to be true. Just to let you know that Acushnet own quite a few of the big brands, and you cannot deal with them unless you have abricks and mortar golf retail outlet. I am trying to find out if this website is a scam. I am suspicious because of the great deals, and lack of info I can find on the company.
I am worried they either sell knock offs, or are trying to run a scam to get money or credit cards. How about knock offs? Waiting for your answers! I have just come across this thread after seeing a number of obviously fake or quite suspicious websites out there selling clubs.
This site has been mentioned in some of the comments above, but can anyone confirm that this is a genuine site and good to order from? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Any assistance as to their history or background woul dbe greatly appreciated. I have used rockbottom golf several times and had no issues with the products I received.
I really hope they are not fake. Nate — did the serial number check out? Did you take the club to an authorized retailer to check it? Why has no one commented on budgetgolf. I have bought several clubs from them and they seem legit. Unfortunately I know first hand.
I just got the mp 52s by mizuno. They are the best clubs of anyone on my team im a varsity golfer in hs. Once it came we noticed it looked weird so we tested his against mine I also have one and it was like hitting small rock with the ball all I have to say it dont use rockbottomgolf. I bought a D3 Titleist online. When I looked into it a bit more, I realised I was done over!
Even the motore f3 shaft was a fake as confirmed by a legit Titleist seller. I have since bought a legit one. Cheers Rob. I bought a D2 Titleist online. When I looked into it a bit more, I realised I was right to panic! Anyone know if these eBay sellers are selling counterfeits?
They all seem to have prices that are low but each seller is top rated with their own eBay store and accept returns. Some insight anyone? Both sites sell cheapest golf cubs in da world and amongst cheapest in Shenzhen; send your money now. I fink the boss of both sites is a Mr Ping; they have named a golf club after him; send your money now. They sell all kind golf cub; they all come straight from factory; send your money now. Biggest customer is in United State of Ameraca; he 6ft 6in and lbs.
Free shipping threw out the world; discount for Shenzhen resident; send your money now. I thought I was dealing with an above board on-line company, but got the shaft. Nine of them to be exact. The grips smelled like tires. A very strong rubber smell. The inserts in the clubheads fell out, and the shafts were a complete no name. I sent the clubs to Mizuno in Atlanta to have them checked. They let me know that they were definitely counterfeit. Mizuno asked if they could keep them to pursue legal action against the companies in the US and China that the clubs came from, but I have not heard from Mizuno at all.
I have learned my lesson about buying cheap clubs. I also learned that Mizuno did not care enough about me to let me know if my actions helped them out in the fight for counterfeit clubs. I took close inspection on many irons. The leathe work was not great, non straight lines and dodgy paint jobs. They appear to be counterfeit.
I do have 2 questions for you if you do not mind. Is it simply me or does it give the impression like some of these remarks appear as if they are coming from brain dead individuals? Would you post a list of every one of your shared pages like your linkedin profile, Facebook page or twitter feed? Hi as anyone dealt with wholesalegolfcheap. Any help is appriciated, thanks. I just received a callaway razor fit driver from jacks golf.
A magnet does not stick to it but who knows. Can anyone else tell me a different way to tell. I did the magnet test to see if the face was titanium and tested the crown on my driver purchased from eBay and all checked out. And some people will actually believe that.
I repeat from previous posts, the world-wide web is awash with counterfeit clubs. Chris, OEM is an extremely confusing and contradictaroy term. I presume the user of such a term is trying to imply that they have got hold of some clubs that were made by the real manufacturer but have been secured at special price in a special deal.
That may happen for some of the lesser brands of clubs but I am sure the more ethical manufacturers — such as Titleist or Ping — would not allow anything of the sort. The manufacturers of the top brands only allow authorised agents to sell their clubs. Stay away from golfsaletime. Their website had spelling errors throughout and their emails were laughably written. The only reason I even attempted to buy clubs from them was because they were one of the only places that had a discontinued model of irons TaylorMade Burner 2.
Should of known considering that the irons are sold out at EVERY reputable store in my area including the few reputable online dealers. When can you find the best deals in golf equipment? Do the big sales come in October or November? I am looking at the Wilson ci 11 irons. Must admit that the prices looked to good to be true and the about us citation was written in pidgin English but the pictures of the clubs looked so real. I thought I had stumbled across the best golf club website in the world after putting the words golf clubs into my Google search engine followed by the words cheap, wholesale, discount, super cheap, rockbottom, bargain, really super cheap, really really super super cheap.
I, of course, am jesting. This is another perfect example of the thieves that masquerade as golf retailers in the boundless world that is the internet. Go to your local retailers, get a feel of the clubs and be assured you are getting the genuine article.
Very bad ones at that. I had a unique thought….. Is it possible that OEM businesses have contrived this web site to insure their profits are kept high?? Oh well, like I say, just a thought. Congratulations to owning up to your moment of stupidity but more importantly this is yet another perfect example to all of us of the corruption that abounds with golf clubs and the world wide web.
But remember they are only pictures and what arrives from the courier can be two completely different products. The internet is awash with counterfeit golf clubs but fools still line up to make purchases which keeps these thieves in employmnent.
Do the right thing — got to your local retailers, make comparisons, try out different models and be assured what you decide to buy will be the real deal. Remember golf club manufacturers spends millions of dollars developing and researching their products to make what in the end is a precision instrument.
Counterfeiters are not interested in precision — just your money. Just a bit of advice for those of you who have been unfortunate enough to buy fake clubs. In retrospect, this looked too good to be true, and was. The clubs arrived yesterday and are fake, very poor fakes at that. Literally club heads with metal Ping stickers on the back which can just be peeled off! I immediately sent a strongly worded email to the contact who had confirmed my order, and then phoned my bank to ask for their advice.
They explained that they would refund my order themselves and take my dispute up with the Chinese vendor on my behalf. This was obviously a huge relief, so my advice to anyone who has been stung would be to speak to their bank immediately. I have a friend who purchased an R11 driver from gfsellers. The website was not a secured site and B of A has had to give him a new account number.
Now, it will be interested to see what happens when the driver is delivered because one, it had a 30 day money back guarantee and two, because he paid with a credit card he feels he might be able to dispute the charges if he finds that the item is counterfeit.
I wanted to know if I could possible have the serial numbers off the clubs before I purchased them. Interesting reply in the grammar aspect and the non-commital aspect. Here is their reply:. Sorry for the inconvenience. Please rest assured to purchase from us. Anything else, please feel free to contact us. Welcome your purchase. If you looking for a bargain when buying new clubs try going to the more independent retailers rather than the bigger corporations like American Golf, Nevada Bobs, etc..
But I thought the manufacturers prohibited the price cutting. Is he cheaing? I am very cynical, but also kinda cheap. Or go to WalMart. First off I just want to thank u for this blog…it has really opened my eyes to this world of fake clubs. Just wanted ur opinion if these are safe or stay away from them. No physical address, misspellings on website and free delivery throughout the world. All three websites are probably the same corrupt organisation. I read too many messages on this site and everyone need to be careful!
I have see so many times and I never order anything from the internet, because they were making some money from you while you play poor golf game! Let me tell you what! My friend who work for the Golfsmith and he is very tired of see people bring fake club to trade in with other clubs.
That store will reject it. When you see many golf cluib sell cheap on any website, that is simple, just click on contact us. When you see Chicago. All of them show Chicago. When you get the package and you can see china on return address! That is biggest joke! If you really want good quality golf club, go to your local golf store and they will give you fitting and measure and you buy the golf club from them!
I am not sure if that website came up in the post or not. Here it is again. Hi Nick. Unfortunately I have. Bought a set of Mizuno jpx pros which were stamped forged, not Pros I questioned Mizuno Australia about this who told me this was the Japanese model. All good? Took them to Drummond golf for bending 2degrees upright and they snapped.
Sent a head to Mizuno who told me they were copies. This was after golfwholesaleshop had assured me they were genuine. Steer clear. Has anyone heard of this website? When I questioned their online customer service they said these are original Pings with serial numbers?
Really Dwayne. I thought they would have said the clubs are all fake and that they had made up the serials numbers. Another sucker. And guess what you came up with cheapgolf4u. Look for the sign posts.
Does it have a telephone number which is not just for taking orders, does it have a physical address for an actual retail outlet, does it offer free delivery throughout the world. The answers will be no, no and no. I sent off an email to cheapgolf4u and received a very interesting reply. I think it about sums up the hundreds of bogus online golf retailers around the world.
If you read it with a Chinese accent, all will become abundantly clear. We have no retail outlet and offer online service only. Any other question, please feel free to contact us. One of the questions I asked was where they get there golf clubs from. I wonder where oversea is? Shenzhen perhaps?
Has anyone bought clubs from this web sight? They claim to be a factory authorized dealer. Would like to know if this is true and are they selling genuine or fake clubs. How about this? Stop asking about the possibility of counterfit clubs! Stop asking about reputeable sites! Go to a Roger Dunn or golf Galaxy get your clubs there.
Then there is NO question as to the legitamacy. Came within 4 days, no issues, clubs are great and legit by confirming at local Roger Dunn. I took the risk, you can now reap the reward. AGAIN, if you still have to question it buy in person. It is that golf club manufacturers are participating in the biggest price fixing scheme I can remember.
The fact that the retailers are in on it also is another story. Retail stores such as, Golfsmith, Golf Galaxy, and others must sign pricing agreements with the manufacturer before they are allowed to sell their clubs. Have you ever noticed the exception wording on any of the sales you see from any of the big retailers.
The only way any of the major clubs are included in any form of sale is when the manufacturer informs the retailer that they want to put certain items on sale, possibly to clear inventory. But I also think the retailers should be able to set their prices for new clubs since the manufacturers are going to get their money anyway and would possibly get even more if they relaxed this price fixing. One Problem, and what drives people to the counterfeits——Roger Dunn, a store I usually love, has moved into the category of insanely high priced unless you go only for sales.
Direct from Taylormade or just about anywhere else authorized they are , free shipping. How do you even remotely justify that?? Ahh, you think that price is cheap on the internet? Last few years ago, my friend who believe that internet cost cheap price for golf iron set than here.
He got the package from UPS what I saw. He bring that iron club to me at my home. I checked the swing weight on each iron. From four to PW are not same as Callaway golf set. My irons were same swingweight from Callaway here.
What questions should I ask? I hate to see you all type about so many different business names by the internet as you believe that price is cheaper or unsure if that company make the golf club from other country. My friend told me the name of golf business and said from Chicago. When he got a package and realized that address from China. He played with the club for few times as very bad and want to trade in with different club, but the Golfsmith rejected it, because the shaft is cheap and fake label.
Do you believe it? That is very scam! Thats less than cost. Only the manufacturer is not Mizuno but a Chinese sweatshop.
So, technically, they are not lying. How many more need to ask if top quality irons and drivers can be found at less than half the cost as everywhere else???
They claim:. No worries. Customer Service We take the clubs from factory directly, cutting the middleman. Hello guys! Past 20 years, I have see so many different golf clubs and some of them were fake last five years ago. I read all on this post as I knew everyone can lead to scam if they order cheap price from strange name business. Please listen very careful — I recommend not order any golf club from the internet as not famous golf business name from oversea!
Best way for you, go to your favorite local golf store as Golfsmith or Edwin Watts and they are happy to measure, fitting, how fast you swing, computer check and you order the golf club as you play very good golf game! I am looking at a sale catalog from Edwin Watts, certainly one of the most highly regarded golf retailers ever.
I believe these brands have prices that retailers are not supposed to reduce. Can someone explain how a respected retailer can cut supposedly fixed prices??????? He is not on the Adams authorized list. I prefer not to use his name. Does this mean the clubs are bogus???? It seems way to cheap to be real. What do you guys think? I get my thrills in more conventional ways, but that is beside the point. Now I assume you are equipped to research I did mine , and a little digging you would have found this newspaper article i.
Since its founding by three high school friends in , RockBottomGolf. With its strategic carrier agreements, RockBottomGolf. In , RockBottomGolf. According to Entrepreneur, the Hot rankings are compiled with the help of Corporate Research Board, a research organization. Only 95, businesses — or 0.
Entrepreneur then contacted the businesses with the greatest growth to confirm eligibility. From this list, the Hot was selected. Quality products, fast and stellar service is what makes RockBottomGolf. Anyway — no doubt you will find holes in this, but I urge you to put your ego aside and humbly admit you may not have all the facts on this one? Yes I had read that article previously. To me it read more like an advertisement than a worthy news story.
I have no idea who Bussiness Review is or its standing within the world of journalism but I am not about to dispute the accuracy of the figures mentioned. But I would point out the article is more than five years old and some of the figures go back more than 10 years. You say Rockbottomgolf receives many of its good from major retailers. I think it is a very fanciful term to believe, as you put it, that Rockbottom gets it goods from closeouts or overstock activities.
I repeat that Rockbottom admitts it does not hold accounts with many major golf brands for the authorised purchase of golf clubs. I would not be dealing with a company like that for my golf clubs.
Has anyone ever done business with bobsbettergolf on ebay? Duane, It gives me great pleasure to reply to your comments that my accusations about Rockbottom are ill-founded and unqualified. Rockbottom does not get it golf clubs of the brands of Titleist, Taylormade, Ping, Cobra, Mizuno through authorised channels. It therefore must get them through unauthorised channels.
Could you please tell me what is ill-founded or unqualified about that? You say you have purchased thousands of items from Rockbottom. I hope none were golf clubs of any of the previously mentioned brands. Paul I have been dealing with Rockbottomgolf for years.
Your comments are ill-founded and clearly unqualified. I have received literally thousands of items from RBG and have absolutely no doubt they are legitimate and reliable. Why would you want to make a comparison with Rockbottomgolf. Ask yourself, if the clubs do not come through the proper channels, then where on Earth do they get them from? They obviously have to come through unauthorised channels.
Is that a business you wish to trade with or rely on? There prices for the most part are inline with rockbottomgolf. I am very skeptical on this website as the written English looks terrible and there is no sign of their registration with UK companies house on the register.
Tim, Have you looked closely at the website or just the pretty pictures of golf clubs with amazing prices? I am surprised you have to even ask if this website is legitimate. Have you read the about us citation? Read it with a Chinese accent and the broken English, missing words and lack of appropriate use of plurals will become abundandtly clear — even for someone lacking in basic perception like yourself.
I bet you typed into your Google search engine the worlds golf clubs followed by such words as cheap, bargain, wholesale, really cheap, rockbottom, really super cheap. I am sure I have seen a website very similar to this one under a different name but as one closes down another starts up because suckers like yourself think they are getting a bargain. Go to your local retailer, see the clubs for yourself, ask questions, hit some balls with them and make an informed decision.
Their sale must be almost counterfeits goods. As looking below, when I checked serial number about which I ordered, it was turned out fake goods. We ran the serial number from your e-mail, and we were not able to pull up any specifications. The serial number matches some older order numbers of ours from This is a major concern since the JPX series irons did not come out until September of We advise you to double check the location to where you made the purchase.
It is possible that they could be a counterfeit product. I consider these to be authentic. Perhaps last years models. Should I consider these to be legit? Their prices seem good but not outrageously so. Thanks for any info. My co-worker bought from buyinggolfonline. Are the clubs fake?
Has anybody purchased golf clubs from igolftimes. Are they legit? Their price for siem clubs seemed very low. Peter, I have the same question. Did you ever get an answer? Prices just dont seem right. Just seems to good to be true. Has anyone bought from this site.
They even put on their site that they are an authorized Muzuno sales organization. Rockbottom has previously said it does not receive its golf clubs through the authorised channels provided by the big brands like Titleist, Callaway, Taylormade, Mizuno, Ping and Cobra. So ask yourself where on Earth does it get it golf clubs from?
The world is full of counterfeit clubs and it is only now that most people are realising the magnitude of the disception as person after person gets stung. Do the right thing, go to your local retailer, handle the clubs, hit some balls with them, ask questions, get the right club for you, not copies of the pretty pictures you see on the internet.
My Callaway 3 metal is about on the fly and runs out to or better. Both clubs are Stiff shafts. The RocketBallz Drivers stiff shaft pretty evenly matched my Callaway. And with the 3 metal, the difference was even greater.
Not only could I see the difference, but they had a launch monitor there. My shortest carry with the 3 metal was Average about And longest carry was This range is not a water range, and is marked all the way out to the markers. Believe what they are saying about RocketBallz. Gotta see how it performs. Besides, you know lots of you will be trying it. At least get it from RD so you can return it for credit.
I wonder how strong the lofts will be? I want the TP version. White paint is smart. TM extends shaft length. Maybe I need to think slightly harder about that. Then again the old adage is true.
Personally I am an Adams woods and hybrid and Ping Irons guy… Bridgestone is my other company in there. Sure hope this helps Callaway and the other get back in the game next year.
It was smart and economical… which is most likely why it was canned. GolfSpy T I did come back out of some sick curiosity. But I do believe a of retailers would be. Mom and pops as well as bigger chains that would close underperforming locations. You should talk to an honest retailer. I appreciate your opinion that the other OEMs brought good line ups to but they are not resonating with the public.
The industry needs them to bring something exciting to the table. White metalwoods from TM will dominate again in regardless of the name or because of it. Superstick Soley to your point about gross margin on golf clubs. I run a VERY big sporting goods store for a company that has over store in 48 states.
Not only do new golfers flock to their gear, often times they become loyal and repeat customers. What I would suggest is that was an exceptional year for equipment.
It is pathetic! Yes, TM was doing exceptionally well over the last years, but what the fk is this?!!! Every comment here is wrong. The drivers are white. Everyone spends money on tour.
The problem with the Internet is that you can say whatever you want with no facts. Do you think they thought Big Bertha was a great name? From the bottom?! You guys can all go to a tech site and bash Apple as well. Losers who all hate the leaders. TM brought the price of drivers down? Do some research. Well said SuperStick. What is true is that TM has top notch customer service, speedy production and quality products. The Turner was heavier, but at the same weight, with the same shaft and grip they played the same.
Getting beyond the obvious ballzy jokes, and the pitfalls of judging the looks of the irons when seen thru plastic wrap… the sole design looks pretty interesting from a bounce and turf interaction standpoint. Not that interesting to me…. Same shade of ugly green too. Probably need to be teamed up with Schwetty Balls for an appropriate match up. You have been doing so good the last 8 years and now Rocket Ballz???? Sorry I love TM but these look like there a knock off.
And consumers are blind. Look at the up and coming companies that have small budgets, limited ad money. Bet you there 10 yards longer but most will only see the big guy with his flashy white hunk o metal. What a joke this whole TM company is a waste of tour bag space they outa remove this company from the golf business for crap like this, their paying all the non staffers like donald and davis love to play their drivers including many others.
They are the whores of the golf business. Their nothing about quality only money, hah welcome to America. Not a fan but I still bet they sell by the truck load. The name is stupid. The color is an improvement over the ugly white driver from last year. Unfortunately, this is one of the worst looking black drivers I have ever seen.
Rocket balls? This driver is ideal for average golfers. The RBZ Stage 2 driver has a low and forward center of gravity with low spin and high launch. The RBZ Stage 2 driver can be adjusted using the TaylorMade wrench and the position loft sleeve as given in the steps highlighted here. As the loft changes, the lie angle increases and becomes more upright from the standard value. Players find that the line is directed more towards the toe after an impact. They may hook the ball while producing consistent swings at the same time.
Can you adjust the loft on Titleist TS3 driver? Yes, the loft on the Titleist TS3 driver is adjustable. The TS3 comes with a SureFit hosel that allows sixteen different loft and lie settings to Is the Callaway Big Bertha Hybrid adjustable? Yes, the Callaway Big Bertha Hybrid is adjustable and can be used by all kinds of golf players. The adjustment settings help increase the ball speed and Skip to content Table of Contents.
